About
UNCOM has managed its successful Youth Jobs Programs since 2008 resulting in a case management model for foster care, out-of-school at-risk and in-school youth. Our programming is funded by Employ Milwaukee. Youth participants throughout the city of Milwaukee and from UNCOM agencies receive specialized training in life and employability skills as well as case management services, in order to complete high school and continue on with post-secondary education or become employed.UNCOM has been an operating partner of the Zilber Neighborhood Initiative (ZNI) since 2008 and currently works with Clarke Square Neighborhood Initiative, Layton Boulevard West Neighbors, Lindsay Heights/Walnut Way Conservation Corporation, and Local Initiatives Support Corporation Milwaukee. UNCOM participates in the operating partner initiatives and supports ZNI partners in various initiatives that encompass the capacity building priorities of leadership, collaboration, sustainability, innovation, and public policy.
