Mission: Goodman Community Center, where we strengthen lives and secure futures The Goodman Community Center (GCC), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is the largest community center in Madison, offering a diverse range of programming to people ages 3 through 100, and annually serving 36,000 unduplicated residents all across Madison, and welcomes over 150,000 visits, with a majority living on the east and north sides. Our primary focus is children and adolescents with higher risk factors and multiple barriers impeding their path to success. Ninety percent of GCC’s youth participants are youth of color, and approximately 90% of the young people served are from low-income backgrounds and about 70% struggle in school.
