The Beaumont Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee is a registered apprenticeship program with the United States Department of Labor Bureau of Apprenticeship Training. The five-year apprenticeship program provides training for electrical apprentices to gain accreditation as journeyman electricians. On-the-job training assignments are provided by signatory contractors and supervised by the IBEW Local 479 highly skilled craftsmen.
