Mission

Fact brings people of faith together, institutions and organizations to build community and address the root causes of poverty, violence and division.

About

Neighbor improvement - safe streets - fact sponsors a neighborhood safety program originally called 'cease fire', now 'lifelines'. This initiative originated in High Point, NC and is designed to reduce street crime and violence in urban areas through intervention, counseling and support of individuals to deter their interest in following and participating in criminal activity. We sought and achieved adoption by the political and law enforcement authorities of Flint, MI and surrounding Genesee County. The program is designed to head off criminal behavior of young people before it becomes serious. In addition, we are working with the Flint mayor and planning commission to achieve the development of a master plan for the city.
