Mission

RecoveryPark's mission is to create jobs for people with barriers to employment. Our development strategy is to leverage the city's underutilized assets: a large workforce, abundant open space, access to fresh water, and extensive infrastructure. Our implementation strategy is to launch our for-profit food business, RecoveryPark Farms. At RecoveryPark Farms, we grow a highly curated variety of vegetables, leafy greens and herbs. And we do this through a number of proven agriculture techniques, ranging from high tunnel to glass greenhouses, and from soil-based growing systems to hydroponics.
