About

International projects Building Goodness Foundation is a U.S.-based construction nonprofit offering complete design/build services to international NGOs in underdeveloped communities in Central America and the Caribbean. We believe that buildings, well-designed, well-built, beautiful buildings - create opportunities for children, families and communities. BGF constructs buildings that promote health and literacy, stimulate economic development, and help end the cycles of poverty. Since 1999, BGF has built 24 medical clinics, schools, water/sanitation systems, and community centers, as well as over 1,100 homes in Haiti, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Liberia, and Costa Rica. Our buildings are structurally sound, intentionally designed, culturally appropriate, and aesthetically beautiful. BGF works with both volunteers from the construction industry - architects, engineers, project managers and tradespeople - and international NGOs to deliver beautiful, high-quality structures that both increase our partner's capacity and generate opportunities for those who use them.
