Girls Inc.'s comprehensive approach to whole-girl development equips girls to navigate systemic gender, economic, and social biases to grow up healthy, educated, and independent. Through direct-service, evidence-based out-of-school learning & enrichment programs and advocacy initiatives, girls develop the skills they need to become leaders in their communities and beyond. THE GOLETA VALLEY CENTER, SANTA BARBARA CENTER,AND TEEN PROGRAM SERVED 694 YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 4 AND 18 DURING 2019 IN AFTER SCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS.
