Girl's healthy, empowerment program for 1,059 unduplicated (1,151 participants) young girls age 8-13 in Napa and Solano Counties with 75% traditionally under-represented ethnic/racial groups & 76% low income families. This is an 5% increase in girls served on top of 22% 3 year AGR. The program combines fun, experiential life skill curriculum, engaging dialogue and activities with running or movement. The girls train to complete a noncompetitive 5K and a community impact project. Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based positive youth development program and is designed to develop and enhance girls' social, psychological, and physical competencies to successfully navigate life experiences. The program contributes to the promotion & development of physical, mental, social, and spiritual health strategies that help build resilient girls and the prevention of unhealthy and risky outcomes. Girls on the Run inspires girls to be confident, caring, joyful and healthy leaders.

Empower 1,151 participants or 1059 girls (unduplicated) while maintain level of low income families (76%) & traditionally under-represented ethnic/racial groups (75%). 90% of girls achieved success by completing the 10 week life skill curriculum & empowerment program, a noncompetitive 5K and community impact project.
