The San Francisco Education Fund (SFEF) envisions a San Francisco in which all students have access to critical educational resources that will enable them to thrive. BUILDING UPON A 60-YEAR HISTORY OF SERVING OVER 200,000 SAN FRANCISCO STUDENTS AND COUNTING, THE SFEF SERVES STUDENTS, FAMILIES AND SCHOOLS, INVESTS IN SCHOLARS AND TEACHERS, AND PARTNERS WITH INSPIRING ORGANIZATIONS AND CORPORATIONS TO MAXIMIZE IMPACT. SFEF programming includes tutoring and mentoring, providing scholarships, teacher grants, corporate school adoption and fiscal sponsorship. This work is more urgent than ever. Currently, of the 50,000+ elementary, middle, and high school students in San Francisco, 55% are considered socioeconomically disadvantaged.
