Project Second Chance, Inc. was established to support the Contra Costa County Library Adult Literacy Program, Project Second Chance (PSC). Project Second Chance offers literacy instruction and has helped over 5,700 adults improve their reading, writing and spelling skills. Project Second Chance offers one-on-one basic literacy instruction to people who struggle with basic literary tasks.
