About
Membership based donations continue to increase. New staff was hired to help with rides and meals. There were multiple sponsored lunches by local organizations. LARSO hosted a community senior housing forum and a Leadership Los Alamos on non-profit organizations. LARSO created a living legacy project and continues to support donations through the Los Alamos Community Foundation, in the form of an endowment. Our goal is to one day have a revenue stream that allows for unexpected and reoccurring expenses. Two matter of balance classes were taught for 8 weeks to assist with balance. We have also added a seated tai chi class for those with balance issues. A capital outlay request was submitted to the state of New Mexico for an accordion style wall, which would allow for classroom separation, to hold additional classes.
