Mission
The USYVL was founded in 1997 and tasked with the mission of creating affordable youth volleyball programs using a standardized teaching method and specialized equipment for kids ages 8-14 years. The USYVL established a financial aid program and contributes to community improvements for local parks where programs are based. The USYVL uses its grant funding to provide financial-aid for participants from low-income families and to institute a standardized teaching method for communities to build their own youth volleyball programs that will provide increased opportunities for at-risk youth.
