Hospitality House of Charlotte (HHOC) exists to ease the extreme stress and burdens that accompany having a critically ill loved one in the hospital. We do this by creating a home-away-from-home environment for families experiencing medical crisis. Guests at HHOC are patients or families of seriously ill loved ones who need to remain as close to the hospital as possible. Families staying at HHOC are often battling cancer, awaiting a life saving organ transplant, or have experienced a traumatic illness or injury. We lodge families who have critically ill loved ones of any age, and as the Charlotte medical community grows we see the need for our services quickly increasing. Our 20-bedroom house can sleep up to 80 people a night and we are full with a waitlist most nights.
