Mission

Florida Justice Technology Center, Inc. was incorporated to increase the access to legal resources through the use of innovation and technology.

About

Our major program areas are; FloridaLawHelp.org - our public legal education website, FlAdvocate.org - our poverty law advocate support site, and FloridaNameChange.org - a brand new tool which documents the process and assists in the creation of file-able documents needed for changing a legal name and/or gender marker on government identification documents in each of the 67 counties in Florida. FloridaLawHelp.org underwent a complete redesign and migration to an open sources platform to allow for greater flexibility and responsiveness to our client community. FlAdvocate.org received an updated user interface as the result of a strategic planning process including key stakeholders from our advocate community. FloridaNameChange.org was designed, developed, and implemented during the past year; we are currently engaged in outreach and promotion.
