Green Card Voices utilizes the art of storytelling to share personal narratives of America's immigrants, fostering tolerance and establishing a better understanding between the immigrant and non-immigrant populations. Our dynamic, video-based platform is designed to empower a variety of educational institutions, community groups and individuals alike to acquire first person perspectives about immigrants' lives, increasing the appreciation of the immigrant experience in America.

Green Card Voices has been able to share personal immigrant narratives by: 1.Recording and Sharing First-Person Immigrant Life Stories Recorded over 350 life stories of immigrants coming from 120 different countries. The video narratives are shared via our website, YouTube, and social media. 2. Touring Exhibits 5 sets of exhibits with approx. 20 self-standing banners (each) featuring portraits of immigrants, their bio, a quote, and a QR code linked to their video (scannable with a smartphone). Shown in over 100 libraries, universities, and middle and high schools throughout MN (as well as ND, SD and WI). 3. Live storytelling events - Over 100 events each year including: book readings, panel discussions, keynotes, all featuring our immigrant storytellers. 4. Publishing books featuring Immigrant Stories -"Green Card Youth Voices" award-winning book series. Each book is a collection of 30 personal essays written by immigrant high school students (Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Fargo editions). In the past year over 10,000 copies have been sold and are used in over 75 schools. -"Green Card ENTREPRENEUR Voices: How-To Business Stories from Minnesota Immigrants": written by 20 immigrant entrepreneurs from 19 countries, including videos. -"Voices of Immigrant Storytellers: Teaching Guide for Middle and High Schools" - 10-lesson curriculum with worksheets focusing on GCV's immigrant stories.
