About this organization
Mission
Boulder Food Rescue aims to create a more just and less wasteful food system.
About
Boulder Food Rescue redistributes healthy food to low-income communities that wouldn't otherwise have access. We redistribute 1,500 pounds of produce every day to low-income housing sites, pre-schools and other easily accessible places, to minimize barriers to accessing fresh produce. We engage a volunteer base of 150 people who do 87% of our pick ups by bicycle.
