Statement of program service accomplishments: All members have access to 'Clippings,' the Midwest Forage Association's online newsletter. 'Clippings' contains breaking news pertaining to the forage industry as well as current and up-and-coming events offered to members. The primary purpose of the newsletter is education and the timely dissemination of information for members. The Midwest Forage Association also provides valuable information to its members through 'Forage Focus,' MFA's mini-magazine. The magazine includes featured articles and photographs in the areas of commercial hay, equine, beef, dairy, grazers, forage research, and equipment. Each issue also features interviews with leading forage producers, packed with great producer-tested ideas. Members are also encouraged to submit questions for our 'Ask the Experts' column. Members are provided access to the latest forage management through the annual forage conference and forage expo. This annual event, along with the field days, workshops, and conferences, provide access to forage researchers, industry representatives, and leading ag producers.
