Education and extended day/year: The Gap Senior High is an accredited, comprehensive diploma program emphasizing the acquisition of strong basic and academic skills as well as development of artistic, cultural, and recreational strengths and interests. A continuum of job readiness, career awareness and post- secondary planning services are provided. 68 students were served by the alternative high school with 4 seniors graduating. The extended day/extended year program is designed to offer young adolescents a safe, structured environment in which to learn and grow. Students take their normal 6 hours of classes daily and participate in enrichment activities after school and during the summer; transportation home is provided.
