Scholar program: recruited/funded new scholars for the 2018/2019 academic year raising total number of Generation Hope scholars in DC, MD and VA and providing them with mentoring, resources, and training throughout the year. Conducted workshops and information sessions on college preparedness to pregnant/expecting high school students. Hope conference: conducted 8th successful Hope conference for scholars. This included a full-day conference with a panel discussion, workshops, seminars conducted by local experts in the areas of self-empowerment, career prep, goals, healthy relationships, college life, etc.
