About

Kent Academic Support Program: The Kent Academic Support Program provides targeted educational support to all newly arrived refugee youth attending kindergarten through 12th grade in the Kent School District (KSD). CRB serves diverse, multi-ethnic refugee communities from 19 language groups. CRB afterschool programming is designed to build students' writing and reading skills through targeted programming that aligns with content taught in the classroom. Furthermore, we build students' critical thinking and soft skills required to be successful in school and life in an enriching classroom environment. We also provide in-home tutoring support for students who have no access to after-school programs.
