In accordance with its purposes outlined in its Articles of Incorporation, Girlthrive, Inc. Girlthriveawarded sisteen (16) scholarships to girls who survived incest aged 13 years to 34 years old. The organization raised the age limit this fiscal yaer. One of the scholarship recepients needed tuiition paid, other medical school fees (listed above), or she would not have been able to enroll.. The Book 2nd edition Invisible Girls: THE TRUTH ABOUT SEXUAL ABUSE was distributed to rape crisis centers throughgout the USA.Several books donated were from the supply bpought in the tax year of 2015-2016 and some were purchased within this fiscal year. The Director answered approximately 200 hundtred e-mails regarding sexual abuse TheDirector applied for the Ten Thousand dollar granntthropugh TTI and did not receive it. Girlthrive, Inc.responded to the urgent needs of some of the longtime scholarship recepients by awarding multiple scholar-ships. Girlthrive, Inc., has expenaded the age limit to the mid 30s responding to the ongoing need to support some of our incest survivors as they grow and develop professionally andf academically. Although we did not statea goal of a new updated website we did accomplish this and at a discounted rate of three hundred and fifty dollars, yet there were several additiuonal fees for we design programs. The new website is www.inivisiblegirlsthrive.com Because of the new open dialogue of sex abuse through the ME TOO MOVEMENT, wealso invested in a PR Firm to spread the word of Girlthrive, Inc. through the Director, Patti Feuereisen.This accomplished several articles in whuch Dr.Feuereisen is quoted as a specialist in the field of sexual abuse, and the organization is promoted. In accordance with its purposes outlined in its Articlers of Incorporation, Girlthrive, Inc. honored Teens and Young Women who have survived incest and all types of sex abuse, through scholarships, Opportunity and Education. In thepast year Girlthrive, Inc. awarded ten Scholarships to girls who survived incest aged thiorteen years old to thirty-four years old. The age limit was raised from 28 years old to 36 years old. One of the scholarship recipients neededher tuition paid, in addition to other medical school fees or she would not be able to enroll. The book 3rd EditionInvisible Girls: Speaking The Truth About Sexual Abuse was distributed to rape crisis centers throughout the USA. Several books donated were from the supply bought during the tax yerar 2015-2016 and some were purchased within this current period.
