Effective Leadership Academy (ELA) exists to help young people develop their most valuable asset - themselves. Our vision is to create a successful, national model for leadership development programming that effectively combines non-profit best practices with for-profit methods, ensuring all eligible students have equal access to ELA's educational programs.

Club Lead and Leads Programs: Club Lead is a during- or after-school program for students in grades 5-12. It is offered in 60-minute sessions, delivered once per week for eight weeks. During Club Lead, students are taught many key leadership and life skills, including how to communicate effectively, how to set and achieve smart goals, how to form and participate successfully in a group, how to develop personal values, and how personal values impact decision-making. Leads is an intensive 3-month program (three, 3-hour sessions) that teaches a large group of students the 21st century skills they need to cultivate leadership awareness. We choose topics from our standard curriculum (effective communication, goal-setting, teamwork, personal values development, etc.) and working directly with our school and education partners, choose topics that are particularly relevant for the specific group of students we intend to serve.
