ArtworxLA (formerly The HeArt Project) combats the epidemic high school dropout crisis with a long-term, sequential arts program offering a pursuable life path that inspires students to stay in school, evolve as unique individuals and flourish as creative adults. We achieve this by: - Creatively educating alternative high school teenagers with sustained arts exposure and immersion; - Connecting students to a network of peers, artists, cultural partners, higher education, creative industries, and supportive adults; and - Investing human and financial resources around ongoing, persistent student and alumni support.

Dramatic Results

Dramatic Results designs and delivers educational programming using art, design, and culture as an entryway into STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). By making learning personally meaningful, students grow in academic performance, intrinsic motivation, perseverance, creativity, and problem-solving skills. For almost 30 years, we’ve worked to identify and close the opportunity gap–guided by a belief that access creates opportunity, for over 30,000 students and 400 classroom teachers across 55 public schools.
