Hope After Loss, Inc. helps those who experience pregnancy and or infant loss to find the inspiration of hope by providing connections, comfort and care.

About

Our Bereavement Support program provides no cost peer-to-peer bereavement support to women and men who grieve the loss of a pregnancy or infant. Many are served who live in the greater New Haven Region. Individuals travel to our support groups from across the state, and women and men worldwide access our online support and resources. Services provided include: monthly peer-led bereavement support groups, one-on-one bereavement support, online support and resources (website, Facebook, Twitter,YouTube), a bereavement resource lending library, an annual remembrance walk (Footprints on Our Hearts Walk), community events such as a candle lighting remembrance ceremony, a quarterly newsletter, remembrance cards sent on the anniversaries of our families' losses, and baby blankets given to babies born following a loss. Annually we honor our medical professionals who have so generously given of their time, care and compassion. An award is given at our Compassionate Care Awards Ceremony.
