Mission

Kroka Expeditions is a non-profit wilderness expedition school based on a year-round, organic farm in Marlow, New Hampshire. We believe that consciousness and altruistic will can be brought forward through a living relationship with the natural world and by taking our places within the circle of community.

About

Semester programs - we offer two semester programs for high school and gap-year students: Ecuador in the fall, and Northern New England and Canada in the winter. On both, self-sufficient expeditions are the catalyst for students to come to understand the world and themselves and their inter-relationship in new ways, learning the importance of responsibility and commitment to shared goals while learning ways to be at home in the outdoors. Students may enroll in one or both semesters. Both journeys are based on extended wilderness travel, participation in vibrant community life and an accredited academic curriculum. Students can receive full high school or college credit for participation in a Kroka semester.
