Of these youth, 80% may not receive the help they need leaving them feeling displaced, hopeless to imagine a brighter future, and at risk of developing more serious problems as they become adults. The San Diego Center for Children provides hope and healing to over 1,000 children and families every day through a range of services. As San Diego’s oldest children’s nonprofit founded in 1887, the Center operates 8 program sites and community-based services within hundreds of homes and schools across San Diego County. The Center is nationally accredited for its excellence in quality of care by the Joint Commission.
