Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz was founded in 1969. We are a nonprofit youth development organization that annual serves around 2,000 boys and girls ages 6 to 18 through afterschool and summer programs. Striving to help youth improve their lives, we offer programs that build self-esteem and develop values and skills during the critical periods of growth. We offer five core areas of programming: 1. Character & Leadership 2. Education & Career Development 3. Health & Life Skills 4. The Arts 5. Sports, Fitness & Recreation. Our trained professional staff encourages youth to reach their full potential in a fun and educational environment.
