United Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County (UBGC) is a non-profit youth development agency and serves children ages 5-18 years old, from 10 locations across Santa Barbara County. UBGC is a member of the national organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Our mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens”. Our youth development professionals provide our Club members with programs in Enrichment, Arts, & Fitness in order to achieve our three priority outcomes for youth: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles - as established by the BGCA Formula for Impact. AFTER SCHOOL CARE:YEAR-ROUND STATE-LICENSED CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE FOR BOYS AND GIRLS FROM KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE SIX, WITH CHP-CERTIFIED TRANSPORTATION FROM LOCAL SCHOOLS. OUR GOLETA FACILITY HOSTS A PROGRAM ONSITE AND AT THE UCSB CAMPUS. THE LOMPOC FACILITY HOSTS A PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM IN ADDITION TO THE K-6 GRADE PROGRAM, SERVING CHILDREN AGED 3 TO 5. SANTA BARBARA WEST CLUBHOUSE ON WEST ANAPAMU STREET TAKES AND WELCOMES ALL CHILDREN.
