Trained, caring staff and volunteers meet with clients to assess needs and screen for eligibility of available local resources. In 2018, we provided 19,454 cases of service to 2,347 separate households made up of 5,001 individuals. We made 15,678 referrals to other local agencies for additional assistance.We provide direct assistance with a variety of essential needs including food, clothing, transportation, utilities to prevent shut-off, prescriptions, urgent dental care, and personal hygiene items.We administer a veteran's relief services program, which provides additional services to low income and homeless veterans.
