About

The Economic Alliance promotes and coordinates economic development activities in Okanogan County. During the past year we have provided counseling services through the small business development center to over 414 active clients. These clients were able to either create or retain 63 jobs in Okanogan County. We also helped to coordinate forums and informational meetings with organizations and the Okanogan County Job Fair, which helps to educate and inform the business community. The Economic Alliance also provides a home-base and clerical support for the Okanogan County Tourism Council, which helps to support the tourism industry in Okanogan County. Economic Alliance's executive director served as board member on the NCW Economic Development District, Wenatchee Valley Foundation board, and work force development council. Over the past year, we have also continued to work with possible new business locations to Okanogan County and responded to leads received from the state. The Economic Alliance has also provided information to companies looking to move or expand to our area and provide them with demographic information including population, major employers, work force, utilities and facilities.
