Mission

To provide a nutritional and culturally appropriate response to people in need of immediate food assistance by collaborating with partner agencies throughout Seattle and King County.

About

The Emergency Feeding Program (EFP) works with 119 partner agencies to make food available when and where people in crisis need it. Our partners include social service agencies, public health clinics, food banks, schools, faith communities and many others. These partner agencies deliver nutritionally balanced and culturally appropriate EFP food packs directly to people in need (their clients) with no wait time or restrictions. This enables the partner agency and their clients to focus on the root cause of the crisis without worrying where the client's next meal was coming from. In 2018, EFP provided over 525,000 nutritionally balanced meals to over 56,000 individuals in crisis throughout King County.
