Washington Community Action Network (CAN) Education & Research Fund is the tax-deductible education affiliate of Washington Community Action Network (CAN). With more than 44,000 members, Washington CAN is the state’s largest grassroots community organization. Together we work to achieve racial, social, gender, and economic justice in Washington state and our nation. We believe we can only achieve our goals when people become involved and take action for justice. As one of the largest grassroots organizations in the state, we work within our communities on a range of issues intending to bring about greater racial, gender, social, and economic equity and justice for everyone. Our Board represents a broad coalition of groups, including labor, senior, faith, and community organizations. We work with our field and telephone canvasses to do education, fundraising, and activation with our grassroots members and activists across Washington, organizing people and empowering them to take action.
