At Eastridge, we are committed to the expository preaching of God's Word. That means that at any Sunday worship service you can expect to hear a sermon that derives its point directly from a particular passage of Scripture. The goal is always to understand and explain what that passage means in its original context and how that meaning impacts our understanding of God and manner of living today. Our philosophy of Missions is to reach the lost through proclaiming the glorious Gospel of salvation found in Jesus Christ. We send and support laborers locally and throughout the world who preach the Gospel and equip the saints for involvement in God's worldwide mission of making disciples. Our missions strategy is to: - Focus on training pastors and key lay people in Bible exposition and spiritual reproduction - Focus on sharing the Gospel with unreached people groups - Support Bible translation and literacy training - Equip, train and send laborers for short term and long term ministries
