Mission

The Children’s Law Project of Hawaiʻi is a nonprofit law firm empowering children through youth-focused legal advocacy. When children are the subject of court proceedings, their needs are often drowned out by adult conflict. We cut through the fray, listen to the children we serve, and fight to ensure that institutions put our keiki’s needs first.

About

The Childrens Law Project Resource Center contains (1) a neutral, safe, confidential, child-friendly environment where child advocates can interview their young clients and caregivers; (2) a library with resource material accessible to child advocates, and; (3) a training center to educate and to foster collaboration with child advocates. In 2018 we established and built the center and library. We have held four two-hour trainings for Guardians ad Litem in the resource center and have nine more scheduled for 2019.
