In February 2018, the Ugandan based Nahla Primary School and well opened. Teachers and Staff were contracted and trained, and more than 350 students were enrolled. Before Nahla, 7 out of 10 children did not attend school in Orit Barpunu, the closest school was a two hour walk. And now, after one year, Orit Barpunu students confidently say that they have dreams of their future careers. In fact, parents are sharing that their kids now frequently talk about their learnings at home. What's more, 88% of students taking their P4 Exams passed and 100% of students taking their P6 Exams passed.
