- St. gianna's place is in the devloping stages and is building the foundation to provide shelter for homeless pregnant women and their babies. we are preparing to have a safe home, where women will gain job and life skills training, and emotional support. our vision is to promote healthy families by providing expectant moms with resources to give birth to their babies and move their lives forward in a positive direction. st. gianna's place has commenced rent of its house for pregnant women in the spring of 2019, and as of november 2019 has two pregnant women in residence and receiving services. st. gianna's place is actively helping these expectant mothers attain their educational and employment goals. one is finishing her ged and the other is enrolled in a nurses aid program to be used as a stepping stone to a rn program.
