About this organization
Mission
To support pediatric cancer patients by providing colorful medical shirts that replace the hospital gowns along with giving support to family members and hospital staff.
About
In 2018, Lukes FastBreaks had a very successful year. We increased our hospital visits by 70%. We kicked off our first Blue Jean Ball which raised $35,000 for cancer research at Cook Children's Hospital, funded 4,000 new Lukes FastBreaks shirts, and completely covered all costs for 8 of our 35 hospital visits. We also expanded internationally through our partnership with Child Life United. We have now provided shirts to 6 more countries outside of the US (UK, Australia, Canada, Puerto Rico, Philippines, and Guatemala).
