About
Service delivery-site coordinators implement the Communities in Schools model of site coordination with integrated student supports within Benton and Franklin schools. CISBF also facilitates and organizes community involvement and relies on its community partners to step forward in providing supports to students and their families. In 2018-2019, we served 26 schools across four school districts: Richland, Kennewick, Pasco and Prosser. We had 27 site coordinators providing school-wide and case management services. In the 2018-2019 school year, we served over 18,000 students with school-wide supports and case managed over 1,000 with individual supports while engaging over 9,000 parents. Student goal outcomes of students we case managed included: 90% improved academic performance, 83% improved attendance, 87% improved behavior, 94% of high school students were promoted to the next grade or graduated and 96% of high school students stayed in school! CISBF is committed to reducing dropout rates while increasing graduation rates in grades 9-12 while focusing on prevention in K-8 grades.
