Community Outreach, Leadership & Education. The CLAY Student Leadership programs consist of leadership and life-skills growth through the support and partnership of teachers, parents, and communities. CLAY partners with schools, churches, and community organizations. The CLAY Student Leadership program has expanded from Texas into Michigan, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. During 2018, the program was in 33 schools, impacting 21,000 students. Around 125 volunteers participated in the CLAY program. In addition to the community outreach of CLAY's school programming, CLAY also has an intentional resources and training branch. Abel Lopez, president of CLAY Student Leadership, is the author of multiple books on leadership and parenting, and CLAY has developed a Lay Leadership Bible. Furthermore, CLAY is providing relevant training to youth leaders and pastors in the U.S. and Latin America through 7-hour intensive seminars.
