About
Education: In 2018, our education programs served nearly 650 adults and youth of varying backgrounds and abilities in blacksmithing, welding, metal casting, glassworking, neon, and jewelry courses. Through partnerships with other community organizations and charter schools, we taught disabled artists, homeschooled youth, and lifelong learners. We also maintained long-term programs with the University of MN and the Hennepin County Home School to provide programs tailored for their clients and students. We manage a robust corps of volunteers that assists us with shop management, fabrication, and administrative efforts to support our education programming and general operations. Benefited 685 persons in 2018.
