Mission

Kulture Klub Collaborative engages art and artistic practice to provide enriching multidisciplinary opportunities for youth experiencing homelessness and artists to grow individually and to transform community.

About

In 2019, KKC was offered a total 24 hours/week of Open Studio time at two different studio locations. Professional producers and engineers worked with young artists at KKC's onsite studio and the Minneapolis Central Library to record and produce original music. Over 100 youth gained experience in a studio setting developing recording skills and refining tracks that they could then publish and share online. The Open Studio program builds on KKC's commitment to supporting the artistic development of emerging artists by providing high quality, professional opportunities that translate to real-world experience.
