About
In 2018, Affordable Housing Visions for Texas, Inc. (AHV) utilized a portion of the refinanced proceeds in Villas of Cordoba and Georgetown Place Apartments to substantially update the properties, including resurfacing parking lots, repairing secured entry gates, repainting, and new landscaping improvements, and to add amenities for residents, including new pool furniture and equipment. It completed its management role to complete construction of a new 140-unit affordable housing property in Houston, Texas called Standard on the Creek. AHV participated in the bond election that passed to provide an additional $200 million in affordable housing in Austin, Texas. Finally, it further invested in preserving local small businesses and non-profits, including $25,000 to the Hope Outdoor Art Gallery, providing art education opportunities to youth and an outdoor art gallery, free to the public.
