Mission

With a mission to conserve natural resources through education and stewardship, the Cibolo has been a leader in environmental education for over 33 years. Through education, community and research programs, we expect participants of every age from any socio-economic background to leave our grounds educated and inspired by nature. We manage 160-acres of the Cibolo Nature Center and Herff Farm that has miles of free trails along the beautiful cypress tree lined Cibolo Creek. We are also the sole organization protecting the fragile waters of Cibolo Creek and adjacent lands as part of the Cibolo Conservation Corridor, which provides one million gallons of recharge per day for the Edwards and Trinity Aquifers.
