During the year ended December 31, 2018, the El Paso Diabetes Association, Inc (EPDA) served over 2,500 persons through diabetes self-management education, gestational diabetes management, insulin injection, glucometer training, cooking classes, and meal planning. In addition, we were active in our outreach of the underserved areas, schools and churches. We also provided services to those who are vision-impaired as a result of diabetes. Finally, we hosted camps for children and numerous screening drives throughout our community.
