The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County has continued to expand its services to children of Portage County. The club currently operates 9 sites throughout Portage County serving an average of 500-600 youth per day during the school year and 600-700 youth per day during the summer months with annual membership of about 2,000 youth. Food service continues to be expanded to serve more meals to more youth daily. Counseling services, teen programming, and Delta Dental Smile Club are newer programs that the club continues to develop and expand. Daily youth development programming is offered through five core areas: character & leadership development, health & life skills, sports, fitness & recreation, the arts, and education & career development.
