Mission

Provide training for psychotherapists who provide affordable therapy for the community

About

In 2019, in addition to providing sliding scale therapy services, BAPTI began providing a limited very low fee counseling to individuals and families who qualify for the first time in our history. We are one of only two non-profits left in our area who provide low cost counseling to the community. In total, we served 143 clients with sliding scale and low fee psychotherapy services, providing almost 2,000 counseling sessions. During 2019, we successfully guided five marriage and family therapy associates toward licensure and helped two additional associates complete their clinical hours. We also sponsored seven psychotherapy continuing education trainings covering topics including adoption, dissociation, law & ethics and reflective parenting.
