HOUSING: -IN 2019, HSF PROVIDED ACCESS TO RAPID RE-HOUSING FOR 193 FAMILIES, THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED USING OUR DEDICATED CASE MANAGEMENT STAFF AS WELL AS A HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST TO ENHANCE OUR SERVICES. HSF IS RECOGNIZED AS THE PREMIER ORGANIZATION FOR HOUSING HOMELESS FAMILIES AND VETERANS IN BROWARD COUNTY. SHARED MEALS/MOBILE SHOWERS: -HSF HAS INCREASED ITS MEAL NIGHTS TO 7 AND CHURCH PARTNERSHIPS CLOSE TO 70 CHURCHES IN BROWARD COUNTY. CHURCH PARTNERS PARTICIPATE IN THE PROVISION AND SERVING OF SHARED MEALS, PROVIDE CRISIS HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES AT THEIR CHURCH FACILITIES, SERVE AS SUPPORT TEAMS FOR FAMILIES AND VETERANS AND AS BENEVOLENT LANDLORDS INCREASING OPPORTUNITIES FOR RAPID RE-HOUSING FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES AND VETERANS IN BROWARD COUNTY. -OUR MOBILE SHOWERS ARE PROVIDED AS AN ADJUNCT TO OUR SHARED MEAL PROGRAM AND HAS PROVIDED CLOSE TO 2,500 SHOWERS IN 2019.
