Nora’s Home offers transplant patients & their families an affordable place to stay where they can find support & share experiences with others, in the comfort of a home-like environment. In addition to providing a clean & hope-filled environment, Nora's Home also strives to provide valuable resources to the organ transplant patients & their families. These resources include transplant education, financial & counseling assistance, shuttle services to the medical center, free access to pantry items in the community kitchens, & various other support programs.

OPENED IN 2013 AS THE FIRST TRANSPLANT HOSPITALITY HOME IN THE GULF COAST REGION, NORA'S HOME WELCOMES PATIENTS ANDTHEIR FAMILIES AT ANY STAGE OF THE ORGAN TRANSPLANT JOURNEY. THE HOSPITALITY HOME AIMS TO EASE THE BURDENS MANY PATIENTSFACE BY HELPING REDUCE THE IMMENSE EXPENSE AND STRESS INCURRED WHILE UNDERGOING TRANSPLANT CARE BY PROVIDINGAFFORDABLE LODGING IN A LOVING, HOME-LIKE ENVIRONMENT. NORA'S HOME IS A SELF-SUPPORTING FACILITY THAT INCLUDES 32 GUEST SUITES WITH PRIVATEBEDROOMS AND BATHS, A FULLY-EQUIPPED KITCHEN, A GREAT ROOM, A SUNN ROOM, MEDITATION ROOM, OUTDOOR HEALING GARDEN, AND PROVIDES FREESHUTTLE SERVICES TO AND FROM THE TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER. THERE WERE 440 TRANSPLANT PATIENTS THAT STAYED AS GUESTS DURING2017. A PHASE TWO EXPANSION OPENED IN OCTOBER 2018 WHICH DOUBLED THE LODGING CAPACITY FROM 16 TO 32 SUITES. NORA'S HOME ALSO CELEBRATED FIVE YEARS OF OPERATIONS, SERVING MORE THAN 1,000 FAMILIES.
