Mission

Empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to progress toward their full potential.

About

Early learning program: This program provides services to young children who are experiencing developmental delays or have a diagnosed condition that has a high probability of resulting in developmental delay. Early interventionists deliver services where the child lives, learns, and plays in order to increase the likelihood of consistent practice with the skills. In this setting, the skills learned are functionally relevant to the child in their everyday activities. In addition to direct support of children, the interventionists provide consultation and training for child care providers. In the fiscal year 2017-2018, 600 children received services. Of these children, 100% have shown progress toward outcomes as specified in their individualized family service plan (IFSP).
