About

Through the Lynch Family Legacy Scholarships and Exceptional Star of the Year Awards, the John Lynch Foundation has assisted many student-athletes in achieving their dreams. The Lynch Family Legacy Scholarships provide financial assistance to students who are attending four year universities. Through the scholarship, the foundation is recognizing students who have excelled in key areas throughout high school and brings them one step closer to achieving their dreams as young leaders. The recipients in Denver and Tampa are chosen based on their academic accomplishments, athletic accomplishments and community work. Financial need is also considered and essays and letters of recommendation are required. The Exceptional Star of the Year Awards are presented to student-athletes with special needs, including Down Syndrome and physical disabilities. These students are chosen based on the same criteria as the others.
